Alien: Earth will be released on August 12, 2025, for the U.S. audience and a day after, ie, August 13, for those in the UK. The former can watch the electrifying episodes of Alien: Earth on Hulu and FX; the latter can watch them on Disney+.

Noah Hawley, the writer and director of the show, informed The Hollywood Reporter on July 17, 2024, that the film has wrapped up filming. He also stated that he had entered into the post-production immediately after completing the filming. He clearly revealed that the alien projects demand much larger visual effects compared to the other genre titles, so it takes more time. Well, it makes sense why the series is being released one year after it was entirely shot the previous year.

How Many Episodes Are There in Alien: Earth?

Alien: Earth consists of eight episodes, with the first two set to premiere on August 12, 2025. The rest will follow a weekly schedule and will go on until September 23, 2025. The titles of the episodes have still been kept under wraps, and we may find out about them a couple of days ahead of the episode’s release.

Do We Have a Trailer for Alien: Earth?

Yes, we have a couple of trailers teasing the brutal events that will occur in the upcoming series. The first teaser arrived during the screening of Romulus, and it got fans intrigued by showing Earth’s reflection on a Xenomorph’s head. The other one came out in November 2025; however, we didn’t get to see much, as it was featured in a video clip that showcased every Disney project coming out in 2025.

During the AFC Championship game on January 26, 2025, another video clip surfaced, and this was the first time we got a clear picture of what to expect. There are a number of video clips and images that allow us to know what exactly the series will look like, and trust me when I say this, it looks horrifying.

Alien: Earth is the first title set on Earth, and it’s set two years prior to the 1979 film titled Alien. The official synopsis reveals “When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.”
