Samsung’s Android 14-based One UI 6.0 brings so many features that we can make a separate article on it. However, what you may want to know before checking out the features is if your Samsung device is eligible for the update. With Samsung’s promise of up to four years of updates, if you recently purchased a Samsung phone, chances are, it might be eligible for the One UI 6.0 update. Here’s a list of One UI 6 compatible devices.

As for the update timelines, the One UI 6.0 update is already seeding to Samsung’s latest flagships such as the S23 series. The update will soon be released to the latest Fold and Flip series of devices. Similarly, the older Samsung flagships such as the S22 series will receive the update by the end of next month, i.e., December 2023; the same goes for the company’s latest and previous-year flagship tablets, the Tab S9 and S8 series.

As for the mid-range segment such as the A and M series, depending on how old your device is, expect the One UI 6.0 update to arrive starting December this year till February at least. The timings may vary depending on where you live and these are rough estimates.

Samsung’s policy is to provide four years of major software updates to its mid-range and flagship devices. Hence, if your phone is fairly new or a couple of years old, chances are, it might receive the One UI 6.0 update.

What’s New in One UI 6.0?

Besides Android 14, One UI 6.0 brings a host of new changes and improvements to the UI. Here are all the changes and features:
