Ahead of the launch of its much-rumored fitness band, Realme has announced a new IoT app that the company says will let users connect seamlessly to all their Realme IoT products. Called Realme Link, the new app is being described by the company as “an entrance to the world of intelligent ecological experience” that will enable people to use their phone as a ‘control center’ to view, operate and control all Realme IoT products.

In an official forum post on Tuesday, the company said that the app will be pre-installed on all Realme devices in the future. The company further said that it hopes to offer users “an ecosystem with excellent IoT experience” through the app.

Interestingly, the company is inviting fans to pick an icon for the new app from four shortlisted designs. As can be seen from the composite image below, all the four designs include the same main logo that consists of an ‘O’ in the middle with two interconnected ‘L’s on either side. While the O stands for ‘Operator’ and also represents the company’s IoT eco-system, the L stands for ‘Link’, said Realme.

Explaining the significance of the design, the company said: “The extension of the circle represents that realme aims to continuously enrich AIoT product categories and prefect the experience of realme ecosystem. You can also see the icon as two people hugging. realme Link wants to provide a platform for our fans to have more connections with each other”.

Fans can vote for their favorite design via this official Google form, but do note that voting will only be open until 4:30pm (IST) on Friday, February 21st.
