The Spangram for today’s NYT Strands puzzle is SNAILMAIL, and it runs from right to left on the letters grid.

Apart from the Spangram, you need to find 6 theme words in today’s puzzle. However, if you are having a tough time getting through the Strands, check out some tips and tricks in my guide on how to play NYT Strands.

Anyway, with that being said, let’s go to the next section. However, proceed only if you are ready to check out the theme words.

List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on May 6

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:

  • MAGAZINE
  • BILL
  • POSTCARD
  • PACKAGE
  • LETTER
  • INVITE

The Strands today was a tad too easy to figure out, thanks to the immediately finding MAGAZINE in the grids. Next, I found BILL in the bottom right corner and right above it, was PACKAGE, as clear as day. I also found POSTCARD in the bottom section, leaving only the top bit of the puzzle to be solved.

First up, I found SNAILMAIL as the right-to-left Spangram for the day. At the top of the Spangram, on one side I found LETTER, while the other side was home to INVITE. That concluded my game as soon as it started, basically, and I didn’t have to use any hints.
