The NYT Connections puzzle for July 29 was one of the few I could not relate to at all. And trust me, that’s very rare. The only vague connection I had was with the Yellow category and that too only because Coliseum reminded me of the movie Gladiator.
The Green category came next and by the grace of something out there I was able to connect words like Drive and Lane without any real knowledge.
Unfortunately, it was the Blue category that did me in. Without any real knowledge to solve this one, I tried but failed. That led to me losing all my tries and ultimately wrapping up the NYT Connections puzzle for July 29.
