Connections gives players 16 random words that must be divided into categories they don’t know.

Answers for Today’s Connections Game (July 22)
Are you still stuck with the Connections puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:

- MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS – Fiddle, Horn, Recorder, Triangle

For some reason, the NYT Connections for July 22 dabbled into categories like Music and Traffic diversions. I began by solving the Yellow category and as someone who’s not nearly an expert in his own field, I got it easily too.
The Green category came next and I had no idea that these all meant musical instruments. I thought the recorder was a voice recorder. But well, some Googling helped there too.
The Blue category came next and as someone who is stuck in traffic on the daily, this was easy as cake to solve.
With only four words left, I got them all together to get the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for July 22.
