Connections Answer for December 18
Are you still stuck with the puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- BRIEF MOMENT – Flash, Jiffy, Second, Wink
- PRIMARY – Chief, First, Main, Principal
- AVENUES IN N.Y.C – Broadway, Fifth, Madison, Park
- _ _ _ HOUR – Amateur, Eleventh, Happy, Rush
The answers for the Blue category hit me almost instantly when I saw the word Madison. Anyone who has seen Madmen will feel the same. With that solved, I had actually moved on to the Yellow section. However, I kept getting confused with a few words and solved the Green category first instead.
As was in the previous case, I saw Happy first and instantly connected it to Happy Hour. Once that was done, I looked for similar words and had an entire string of them before long to solve the Purple category.
With only the last hour words left, I joined them and got the Yellow category and NYT Connections answers for December 18.
