Nintendo Switch To Unveil New ‘Interactive Experience’ For Kids Today

Nintendo Rises 175% in Revenue With Strong Demand of Nintendo Switch

After being named the best-selling gaming console in December, Nintendo is now gearing up to launch something new for its hybrid Switch console. The company has uploaded the teaser on its official U.K website, saying that it’ll debut a new ‘interactive experience’ for its Nintendo Switch console.

But, that’s not the end of its teaser. Nintendo further added that its upcoming Nintendo Switch experience has been ‘specially crafted for kids and those who are kids at heart’. Nintendo has only provided the people this very hint about what it’ll be launching on livestream today at 10:00 PM GMT (or 5:00 PM EST/ 3:30 AM IST on Thursday).

While it’s difficult to pinpoint, we can speculate that Nintendo will be launching a new Nintendo Switch accessory that’ll further the gameplay experience. It can be a variation of their existing Joy-cons, VR goggles to experience gameplay in an up-close and personal manner or something totally different and unthinkable.

This announcement has been timed perfectly and comes after Nintendo’s recent comment on the wild success of the Switch, as opposed to the sales of the newly released Xbox One X or PS4 Pro. Nintendo’s President Tatsumi Kimishima is now of the opinion that Nintendo Switch has a reputation to live up to going into its second year. He recently stated:

In order to be playable in the long term, the second year is crucial. Our task is to add more users, including people who barely touch game consoles.

Today’s announcement will most likely be tied to Kimishima’s comment, making the use of Nintendo Switch much easier for children.

As for the success of the Nintendo Switch, the company has managed to sell more than 10 million consoles since its debut in early 2017. This console has been one of the best-selling and fastest-growing for Nintendo, beating its Wii U sales. And the company has now set an ambitious 20 million target for the sale of consoles in the next fiscal year. So, what do you think is Nintendo going to unveil today?
