An anime adaptation by Adult Swim was announced in 2019, but the project faced numerous delays due to unknown reasons. Well, in July, the community was overwhelmed after finally watching the first teaser of the Uzumaki miniseries.

Uzumaki’s story is set in a peaceful town in Japan that suddenly experiences a rise in disturbing and frightening events caused by supernatural entities called Spirals. So, the protagonists, namely Kirie Goshima and Shuichi Saito, must step forward and fight against the spirals to save their loved ones.

Besides that, the voice actors who lent their voices to the original anime characters will reprise their roles in the reboot.

The story revolves around Ranma, who gets engaged to Akane Tendo. However, the former’s life is not as straightforward as he gets cursed during his training period in China. Whenever splashed with cold water, he gets turned into a woman, and after splashing with hot water, he can again get back to his true form.

11. Shangri-La Frontier Season 2

As the first 71 chapters of the manga have already been covered in the first season, the new season will begin with the events of Chapter 72. The pilot season of the anime was executed well, and we expect the same from the succeeding one.

Blue Box’s anime adaptation was announced in November 2023. Telecom Animation will produce the anime, which will be a Netflix exclusive.

It’s a sports-romance anime that follows Taiki Inomata. Following his enrolment at Eimei Academy, Inomata becomes a part of the school’s badminton team. He establishes romantic feelings for Chinatsu Kano, a popular basketball player of the school.

Taiki must train hard to impress her and prove himself a worthy badminton player so that Chinatsu starts noticing him. The story is a mix of sports and romance, a combination that is tough to ignore.
