Microsoft has just given many users their last lifeline before they have to stop using Windows 10. If you didn’t know, official support for Windows 10 ends on October 14, 2025. But thankfully, MS is not abandoning the operating system or skimping on updates just yet. In fact, in a surprising move, Microsoft has just confirmed that it will bring the highly useful Copilot AI feature from Windows 11 to Windows 10.
The rapidly evolving innovation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) has definitely reflected heavily in how we operate our PCs today. Microsoft says that Copilot in Windows is ‘at the center’ and that ‘this new era of AI increases the value and importance of the PC further.’ It also confirmed that it wants to “extend that value to more people,” hence bringing Copilot to Windows 10!
Copilot in Windows is officially still available only in the ‘preview’ stage, although there were talks about the stable version’s release being close. How To Get Copilot AI on Windows 10
According to the official insider blog, Microsoft will be releasing Copilot AI for Windows 10 in preview for version 22H2 Home and Pro Editions. The feature will require a minimum of 4GB RAM and 720P display resolution. The update will roll out to Release Preview channels first of the Insider Program. To ensure you get the update, make sure to enroll and turn on the toggle for ‘Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available‘. Now, simply click on ‘Check for updates‘ and wait to get the latest feature update as well as the Copilot AI update for Windows 10.
