Realme 9 4G comes with SD680 processor, doesn’t it support NavIC? I have this device, is investment all gone into vein now?

    • Mᵜāz Kalīm says:

Do you want a reasonable-honest answer, or..?

  • Deepak says:

Non Chinese Smartphone with NaVIC system..

  • Ak says:

I may be mistaken but as far as I know, for anyone reading,

    1. You cannot Download NAVIC, it’s a part of the SoC hardware from chup manufacturers.
    2. Phone manufacturers have to make their phones/software compatible
    3. There must be enough demand for a company to invest in this.

Keep buying chinese phones, and they’ll keep giving you cheaper alternatives. Samsung currently has no plans for NAVIC. I’m not surprised cause when google maps navigation is banned in Korea, why bother for it in other places.

  • Mᵜāz Kalīm says:

    Any..

    Pret-ty please..

Any of the Nokia®, Samsung® or for […]’s sake: Even LG® phones officially-confirmed to be launching with NaVIC-supporting hardware specs?(
    If they haven’t, already.)

    • Mᵜāz Kalīm says:

It is more than unfortunate that you, the author, Mr Arjun Sha — has stopped updating this blog since long enough.

Since after getting hoodwinked by Nokia® 5.4 about a year ago from fellow 3rd-party sites touting “NavIC support”..

…I am currently looking for any brand’s latest-model available in India which supports( in the descending-order) of priorities:
      A) NavIC.
      B) 6GB RAM+128 GB ROM
      C) 50MP or less primary-camera with[out] 16MP or less camera including/excluding front-flash
      But..
      D) Does not support 5G.

      • Santu says:

This is the same requirement I have, I’m willing to settle for 4G, not more than 64MP, not less than 16MP camera, 6+128GB combi
