How to Get Rush Sidekick in Fortnite

Mega Man is in Fortnite, and to celebrate this collab, he’s brought his trusty canine robot Sidekick, Rush, with him. He has blue eyes, a brown nose, and a body made out of Ceratanium. Although he won’t be useful in a fight, he does make for a brilliant companion. That said, here is how to get the Rush Sidekick in Fortnite.

Fortnite Rush Sidekick: How to Get It and Price

The Rush Sidekick in Fortnite was released on September 10, 2026, at 8 PM ET, with the Item Shop reset. It is part of the Mega Man collab and is bundled with the character. If you want to get it, here are the steps you need to follow:

• Open Fortnite and navigate to the Item Shop.
• Look for the “Mega Man” section at the top of the Fortnite Item Shop.
• Click on the Rush Sidekick (1,500 V-Bucks) or Mega Man Bundle (3,800 V-Bucks).
• Click and hold the Purchase button until the circle fills up.
• Fortnite will notify you when it adds the Rush Sidekick to your locker.
• Then select Rush Sidekick from your Fortnite locker and customize it.

The Rush Sidekick is part of a cosmetic bundle which includes the Mega Man skin in Fortnite. This means it can be purchased at a discounted price, unlike the recently added Fractal Cat Sidekick in Fortnite. However, given that the bundle costs a lot, if you don’t have V-Bucks to spare, you can get the Sidekick individually.

Whatever V-Bucks you do have, we recommned to use it to get the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass. Once you complete Geno Story Quests in Fortnite, additional rewards will be unlocked. That said, if you get Rush Sidekick in Fortnite, you can unlock bonus rewards using Sidekick Points. Here’s the full list:

Complete Fortnite Quests to earn XP while playing Battle Royale or Zero Build matches to earn XP and unlock bonus rewards for your Rush Sidekick. Remember to enter Cheat Codes in Fortnite when possible to get Sprites, and make use of Fortnite Lobby Hack (Admin Panel) Codes, to get Sprite Dust, XP, and Fortnite Gizmos.
