However, of all the Grow a Garden pets people seem to want, the Dragonfly remains a hot commodity. That’s because this little guy is arguably the best animal in the game right now. Sadly, a lot of players are having trouble getting it. Well, why is it special, and if so, then how do you get one? How to Get the Dragonfly in Grow a Garden
Dragonfly can be hatched only from the Bug Eggs you can buy at the Pet Eggs stall beside the Gear Shop area. In Grow a Garden, you will find five different types of eggs with unique colors appearing randomly in the shop. Among them, the Bug Egg is a greenish-looking oval with a couple of wings on each side.
The Bug Egg will cost you 50,000,000 Sheckles and has a 3% chance of appearing at the shop. So, buckle up, as you need to grind a lot to save such a massive sum of money to get it. Thankfully, we can teach you how to make money fast in Grow a Garden, so your work is cut in half.
However, even if you get the Bug Egg, there’s only a 1% chance that this egg will hatch into a Dragonfly. An alternative to getting such eggs is visiting the in-game shop and buying the Exotic Bug Egg pack for 199 Robux. Or, you can always trade the bug eggs with other players and go through the process of hatching them all over again.
Although buying the egg using Robux won’t increase your chances of getting the Dragonfly, it reduces the hatching time to 30 seconds. Once you have purchased the Bug Egg, go to your garden and place it in an empty space. Usually, when bought using Sheckles, it will take 8 hours to hatch, and then a random insect may appear, including Snails, Giant Ant, Caterpillar, Praying Mantis, or the Dragonfly itself.
Dragonfly Passives in Grow a Garden
The Dragonfly belongs to the Divine tier and is one of the best Grow a Garden pets right now. So, you can definitely predict that it has got some impressive passives. As such, the Dragonfly can grant any random fruit the Gold mutation, every 4 minutes and 50 seconds, thereby increasing its value by 20 times.
However, there is one exception for now, which is that this passive does not affect the Mushrooms. But because of its effect on other crops, we’ll let this slide.
