The only new event in this update is the Harvest Reaper, when a new NPC spawns wearing a black hood and carrying a Scythe. This may look like a scary summoning ritual, but if you’re brave enough to give him all that he requires, you can get rewarded with several exclusive rewards. How to Summon Severed Spine by Harvest Reaper in Grow a Garden
The Harvest Reaper NPC will spawn naturally at the center of the lobby every 2 hours in the Grow a Garden Halloween Event. The central area will be occupied by the Harvest Reaper, the Witch, and the Dead Tree alternatively every hour. So, wait for some time or rejoin the game later to find the Harvest Reaper and complete its quest.
The new NPC will have a set of 25 ritual plates encircling it, burning in orange flames at first. Now, follow the steps below to complete the summoning ritual:
- Go near each plate and view what plant it requires
- Bring out the plant from your backpack and hold it in your hand.
- Press the ‘E‘ key to interact with the plate and then click on the Submit dialogue option.
- This will change the color of the flame from orange to blue.
Notice that the required items will be as simple as a carrot, a pumpkin, or a Jack-o-Lantern. However, some might even have certain mutations attached to the plants, like Spooky or Vamp. As you complete submitting all 25 plants to the ritual plates, and all of them turn blue, you’ll be rewarded.
