So, we all know that Dune has been strictly following the novel storyline sticking extremely close to the source material of the films. If you go through a recap for Dune Part One and have watched how majestic Dune Part 2 has been, you know that as of now, with the two movies, Dune has completed the first Dune novel ending with Paul becoming the emperor.

Now moving on to Dune part 3, director Denis Villeneuve has already confirmed that it will be based on the second novel, Dune: Messiah with the same title, and since Dune movies stick close to the source material we can certainly say that Dune part 3 will follow the same plot as the novel, Dune: Messiah.

The plot of the novel follows 12 years after Paul became the emperor. The novel majorly revolves around two things.
