Tate Dutton Did Not Die in Yellowstone Season 5
In the first half of Yellowstone Season 5, we see that Monica is pregnant and when she goes into labor, nobody is there to drive her to the hospital. Because of this, she decides to drive herself, and her son, Tate, goes with her. However, on the way, Monica’s car and a stranger’s truck collide with a stray buffalo resulting in the death of that stranger. Monica survives the crash but her unborn child, John, named after his grandfather, dies in that accident.
After this accident, in Yellowstone Season 5, we see that Tate is not dead but only injured and is presented to us later on with a cast on his hand while Kayce comforts his wife for the loss they just suffered.
Even in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2, Tate Dutton is safe and sound so far, but now that in episode 12 Kayce has threatened to kill the daughter of the man who carried out John Dutton’s murder, there is a possibility that he might come after Kayce’s family and potentially kill Tate.
Tate and Monica Were Almost Killed in Yellowstone Season 4
Tate’s life was in grave danger in Yellowstone Season 4. He and his mother Monica were attacked by a masked man shortly after his father Kayce called them to warn them after he suffered from an attack as well. Sadly, it was too late. Tate and Monica got attacked leaving Monica injured. However, Tate, fueled by fear, anger, and adrenaline, managed to get his hands on a gun and shoot the attacker.
When Kayce got back he found Monica and Tate hiding in Monica’s room. Tate is hiding under the bed shocked by everything that went down. Kayce gets him out of there and comforts the boy who has just saved his and his mother’s life.
Tate Was Kidnapped in Yellowstone Season 2
This was the first time Tate’s life was in danger in Yellowstone. In Season 2, Tate was kidnapped by the Beck Brothers in an attempt to get back at the Duttons. However, things didn’t end well for them. It didn’t take long for the Duttons to figure out that Teal and Malcolm Beck were behind this. John Dutton and Kayce run a group to rescue Tate and keep the promise Kayce made to Monica, to bring Tate back safe and kill those who took him.
When the Duttons were raiding the Beck’s house Kayce found Teal in the bathroom. He shot at him and interrogated Tate’s whereabouts. As soon as he had what he needed, Kayce didn’t hesitate a second before taking Teal’s life. On the other hand, John Dutton shot Malcolm who was trying to run away. He walked up to him, sat next to him, and watched him bleed out for a while before walking away and leaving him to die a slow and painful death.
So, it is evident that Tate has been through a lot in Yellowstone and is still alive along with some other cast members. Now, all that’s left to see is if he survives till the season finale. So let’s wait and see what happens and till then, stay tuned!
