While Facebook Messenger doesn’t support messaging on Apple’s CarPlay, thanks to its adoption of CallKit, the app allows you to receive any voice VoIP calls on CarPlay. That means that if someone calls you using Facebook Messenger while you are driving, you will be able to answer those calls. That said, you won’t be able to make calls using the Messenger’s VoIP services which is a bummer.
