- Shadow (Divine): Shadow Realm grants every Magical unit a 25% damage boost while transforming the battlefield in your favor. Its permanent spirit summons continue attacking throughout the match, giving it incredible sustained damage.
- 8th Sword (Berserk): Passive damage constantly chips away at nearby enemies before Berserk Mode massively boosts its damage, range, and attack speed. It becomes one of the hardest-hitting carries once it reaches its takedown requirement.
- Puppet (Telekinetic): Puppet Mark automatically targets dangerous enemies, helping your team eliminate bosses much faster. Its summoned doll provides another reliable damage source without needing additional setup.
- Cursed Student (True Love): Follow-up attacks and Bleed stacking allow it to shred high-health targets with ease. Bat Spirit summons increase its damage output even further during extended fights.

- Crimson (Brother): Crimson Marks create delayed explosions that clear tightly packed enemy waves with ease. Lingering crimson pools continue damaging enemies after the initial blast, adding strong area control.
- Flame Emperor (Reincarnate): Burn spreads across nearby enemies, making it one of the strongest wave-clearing units available. Walls of fire add another layer of damage to every path enemies travel.
- Salmon Sorcerer (Grade 1): Slow and stagger effects dramatically increase the time enemies spend inside your damage dealers’ range. It remains one of the best crowd control supports currently available.
- Lady Giant (Envy): Rock Chunks trigger powerful follow-up attacks that improve its overall DPS. Giant transformation increases multiple stats at once, making it a reliable frontline carry.

- Reaper (Released): Permanent damage and critical chance buffs make it stronger the longer a stage lasts. Mirage Step also provides extra flexibility through repositioning.

B Tier Units
Despite being B Tier units, some of these characters offer useful support effects that can fill temporary team slots. Avoid investing too many resources into them unless they perfectly fit your current lineup. You should also ignore using items in Anime Expeditions for leveling these low-tier units.
- Greed: Deals extra damage against bosses, making it more useful during single target encounters. Outside of boss stages, its overall value falls behind stronger DPS units.
- Ice Queen: Freeze effects help slow difficult enemies, while bonus damage activates against weakened targets. It provides decent utility despite lower overall damage.
- Water Princess: Protective shields block incoming debuffs for nearby allies, improving team survivability. Its defensive role is useful in certain encounters but lacks offensive impact.
