Megumin has finally arrived in Anime Adventures with her signature explosion magic. It is a secret tier unit that you can only unlock through a secret portal. In this guide, we will tell you how to get and evolve Megumin in Anime Adventures.
How to Get Megumin in Anime Adventures
Unlike other units in Anime Adventures, you cannot summon Megumin (Explosion Mage) from a banner. So, keep your gems from the Anime Adventures codes for other units. Explosion Mage is a secret unit that you can only get through a secret portal.
You need to complete the Summer Hunt stages and be lucky enough to get an Explosion Mage Portal. This leads you to another world where you have to complete all the waves and defeat the boss.
The Summer Hunt has 50 waves, and completing all of them gives you a chance to obtain a Secret Portal. The portal you need is the Explosion Mage Portal, but its drop chance is low.
Once you get the portal, follow these steps:
- Enter the Explosion Mage Portal.
- Complete all 30 waves.
- Reach the final boss and defeat her.
- The boss has 140 million HP, so make sure you are using the best Anime Adventures units.
- Defeating the boss gives you a chance to obtain Megumin.
The exact drop chance for Megumin has not been confirmed yet.
How to Evolve Megumin to Explosion Mage (Archdemon)
Once you obtain Megumin in Anime Adventures, you can evolve her into Explosion Mage (Archdemon). You need the following items:
- 1 Staff of Explosions
- 7,500 Takedowns
You can buy the Staff of Explosions from the Summer Event Shop near the spawn for 5,000 SummerPearls. This currency can be farmed by clearing the summer stages or simply buying it from the Travelling Merchant, who sells 500 SummerPearls for every 250 Gems.
To complete the takedown requirement, play Infinite Mode and defeat enemies until you reach 7,500 takedowns. After meeting both requirements, you can head to the Evolve area and evolve your Megumin. Here are the buffs you will get on the unit:
- +20% Attack
- +Explosion 100%
