Xiaomi Unveils Silver Variant of the 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air with 8th-Gen Intel CPUs

Xiaomi has launched a new color variant of the original 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air laptop, which now comes in a Silver option too, in addition to the existing dark grey variant. Aside from the shiny paint job, the new Mi Notebook Air also comes with a few upgrades under the hood.

The device sports the same 13.3-inch Full HD display encased in a thin and light Aluminum body, which allows the display to tilt a maximum 135-degrees, and also comes with a full-sized backlit keyboard bearing the same silver color as the laptop’s entire body.

The improvements come in the form of updated processors, as the device’s silver avatar comes equipped with the latest 8th Gen Intel CPUs for ultrabooks with the Core i5 8250U and Core i7 8550U options.

In terms of internal storage, the laptop comes equipped with a 256GB PCI-E SSD and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Graphics are handled by a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU, while port selection (USB-C, USB 3.0 and HDMI) and the battery capacity remain the same at a 40W-rated unit.

The Silver 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air powered by the Core i7 processor has been priced at 5,999 Yuan, but as part of a limited time offer, the device will be available at just 5,699 Yuan.

The Core i5-powered Mi Notebook Air will come in two variants- one with a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card priced at 5,399 yuan, while the non-GPU version is priced at 4,999 yuan. The Silver 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air is up for grabs starting today from Xiaomi’s official website, JD.com and Mi Home stores across the country.
