What Was Homelander’s Twisted Plan in The Boys Season 4

Even though The Boys Season 4 is one of the most-watched shows on Amazon Prime Video, it does come up with some disturbing things. Season 4 ran for eight episodes and during the course of these eight episodes, Homelander had come up with a plan that may be the darkest thing we have seen in The Boys.

Homelander Builds an Army of Supes

It was revealed to us in Season 4 that Homelander is done being a celebrity and gathers all the supes including Sam and Cate Dunlap from Gen V. Homelander tells them that they will no more be loved and adored celebrities but will act as “wrathful Gods”. In Episode 6, we see A-Train letting Mother’s Milk know Homelander’s intentions of building an army of supes. Now you might wonder, “Why does Homelander want to do that ?” you’re about to find out.

Tek Knight’s Diabolical Plan of Internment Camps

In Episode 6 of The Boys Season 4, when Annie, Kimiko, and Hughie capture Tek Knight and make him spill out what kind of deal Tek Knight made with Homelander, he tells them that The Seven wants to use his private prisons as “Internment Camps”. Now if you don’t know what internment camps are, it is another name for concentration camps which already are a dark spot in the history of the world.

Homelander is planning on building these camps to captivate people who do not comply with him and Supes who do not want to be a part of his plan. Now the question is how will he be able to do such a thing.

Steven Calhoun Is Homelander’s Puppet

As we all know, Victoria Neuman was brutally murdered by Butcher in the final episode of The Boys Season 4. So, Homelander’s plan of enforcing the 25th Amendment Act was not going to work anymore. However, with Robert Singer out of the picture and Victoria Neuman dead, Steven Calhoun became the president of The United States and collaborated with Homelander handing him his army of supes on a silver plate. The current scenario of The Boys universe is that even though Calhoun is the official president, Homelander has a complete grip on the USA.

We will get to see glimpses of this in Gen V Season 2 set to release in 2025. However, it all will come to a grand finale in The Boys Season 5 set to release sometime in mid-2026. So let’s wait and see what Prime Video has in store for us and if they live up to the expectations people have from The Boys Season 5.
