Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia and 6th most visited website, which receives 2.7 billion monthly pageviews from the US alone.

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone having access to the site, but according to a survey conducted by Wikipedia itself shows that only 6% of total readers have ever edited any article on the website.

Top 3 countries with maximum percentage of editors are US (31%), Germany (12%) and UK (9%). In all other countries, a very small number of people actually participate in editing Wikipedia.
