With an extremely powerful crew, the Blackbeard Pirates are one of the main antagonists of the One Piece anime. They are nearly similar to Luffy’s crew in power levels and are led by their admiral Marshall D. Teach (aka Blackbeard). Blackbeard has gathered vile and abominable characters from all over the One Piece world and started his pirate crew.

Starting with only five members, the Blackbeard Pirates grew to 10 members after recruiting several strong prisoners from Level 6 in Impel Down. They quickly managed to rise in terms of power levels and are one of the four strongest pirate crews in the world. Blackbeard also became an emperor of the sea, making them a notorious emperor’s crew. The members of the Blackbeard Pirates are:

He is the only person in the entire universe to eat two devil fruits and boasts two amazing powers — one Paramecia and one Logia devil fruit in One Piece. Due to this unnatural phenomenon, Blackbeard is considered one of the biggest threats to humanity.

Along with the two devil fruit powers, Teach can perform two types of haki in One Piece. Blackbeard is extremely overpowered right now, and he is rightfully one of the four emperors of the sea. Therefore, he is ranked as the strongest member of the Blackbeard Pirates.

2. Aokiji

While there are theories that Kuzan joined Blackbeard in order to spy on the crew, he is now the Titanic captain of the tenth ship and the second strongest after Blackbeard.

Aokiji’s devil fruit is undoubtedly one of the most powerful devil fruits in the world. The Hie Hie no Mi fruit allows him to produce ice at his will, and he can even freeze the sea to overcome the devil fruit’s weakness to water. Further, Aokiji can use the two basic forms of haki, and we have ranked him as the second most powerful member of the Blackbeard Pirates in this list.

3. Shiryu

Shiryu has Abslaom’s devil fruit, Suke Suke no Mi, which allows him to turn invisible and even the objects he possesses.

Currently, Shiryu is an excellent swordsman in One Piece, and fans are waiting to see him fight Zoro in the anime. 4. Jesus Burgess

Jesus Burgess is one of the founding members of the Blackbeard Pirates and the Titanic captain of the first ship. He is loyal to Admiral Blackbeard and is a powerful opponent in the anime.

Burgess has consumed the Paramecia-type Riki Riki no Mi devil fruit, which gives him superhuman strength. Thus, his physical power has grown two-fold, enabling him to lift a mountain and throw it toward the Heart Pirates. Further, he can use two forms of Haki, which when combined with his Hercules-like power and physique, is a sight to behold.

5. Van Augur

His marksmanship skills are unmatched, and he is one of the greatest marksmen we have ever seen along with Yasopp. Augur is also known as the “Supersonic” for his sniper skills and has been lauded by fans all over the world. Overall, Augur has incredible vision and devil fruit powers, but it is not confirmed whether he uses haki or not.

6. Avalo Pizarro

Like most of his crewmates, Avalo Pizarro was a Level 6 prisoner in Impel Down before joining the Blackbeard Pirates. For his oppressive rule as king of the North Blue Kingdom, he was given a life term in jail. The locals revolted against him, and as a result, he was imprisoned in Impel Down. He eventually acquired the moniker “Corrupt King” in One Piece. Blackbeard summoned Pizarro during his attack on Impel Down, and he is now the titanic captain of the fourth ship. The devil fruit powers of this corrupt king were revealed recently.

He ate the Shima Shima no Mi which allows him to engulf a whole island, which basically means he has absolute control over that whole island including its buildings and things on it. Hence, this is one of the bizarre devil fruit powers we have seen. Let’s see how Avalo can make full use of it in the future. Additionally, in his confrontations in Marineford, he showed outstanding fortitude. As a result, Avalo Pizarro is currently ranked as the sixth-strongest Blackbeard Pirate on our list.

7. Laffitte

Laffitte is the Navigator of the Blackbeard Pirates in One Piece. He is known as the Demon Sheriff because of his cruelty as a sheriff (police) in West Blue. He has been banished due to that, and he joined this crew to continue his love for brutality.

Though, we haven’t seen much of his powers in action just yet. It has previously been mentioned that Laffitte was able to hypnotize the Marines to open the Gates of Justice. Not just that, he was also seen flying with wings on his back. But, we cannot be sure if he possesses any devil fruit or haki powers.

However, we can be sure that Laffitte is strong because Blackbeard has stated on numerous occasions that he doesn’t want weaklings in his crew. Thus, he is the seventh strongest member of the Blackbeard Pirates and is the titanic captain of the fifth ship.

8. Catarina Devon

Catarina Devon is regarded as the most deadly female pirate imprisoned in Impel Down. She is also known as the Crescent Moon Hunter and was recruited by Blackbeard during his raid. Now, she is the titanic captain of the sixth ship in Blackbeard Pirates.

She ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune fruit, which allows her to transform into the nine-tailed fox (yeah, the one in Naruto). With this power, Devon can transform and impersonate anyone in the world. Yes, there’s a huge manipulative power in the hands of the most dangerous pirate crew. We haven’t seen any of her other powers in action just yet.

9. San Juan Wolf

San Juan Wolf is a part of the One Piece giant race. He is famously known as the Colossal Battleship, which was given to him because of his size. San Juan Wolf is also a level 6 prisoner who was sentenced to life in prison. The crimes he committed were so heinous that Marines had to cover it up by erasing the record.

San Juan Wolf is the only giant known to eat a devil fruit until now. The devil fruit’s name was revealed very recently, its name is the Deka Deka no Mi. It allows him to get much bigger than the usual height of giants. In the recent manga chapter, he was seen lying down with a massive size equal to half of the town on that island. Unquestionably, his powers come from his gigantic size, and since they have been almost doubled by his devil fruit, he possesses immense strength right now. Surprisingly, he managed to come to Marineford sneakily despite his size. Wolf ranks in the ninth spot on our list but can climb up once we see his powers in action.

10. Doc Q

As the name tells, Doc Q is the doctor of the Blackbeard Pirates in One Piece. He is known as the “Death God,” as he resembles the grim reaper with his scythe and a sick horse. He is sick already and is carried around by his horse. Doc Q consumed the Shiku Shiku no Mi devil fruit, which allowed him to spread sickness in the form of diseases to anyone. Despite being very sick, he was recruited by Blackbeard, which tells us a lot about his powers.

Undeniably, Doc Q is a great medic as well as an excellent chemist. He proved his medical skills in the anime and made explosive apples as well. Doc Q is the Titanic captain of the ninth ship in Blackbeard’s crew.

11. Vasco Shot

Vasco Shot was one of the seven heinous criminals who were sentenced to life in Impel Down Level 6. He carries the nickname “Heavy Drinker” as he’s shown to be drinking all the time we have seen him in the anime. He was freed and recruited by Blackbeard during the raid and served as the Titanic captain of the eighth ship.

According to the latest reveals, he ate the Gabu Gabu no Mi devil fruit which enables him to utilize Alcohol as his power. This is another strange case because we certainly don’t know how he can make the best out of this devil fruit. But we sure know Vasco and Zoro can get along as Zoro loves to drink during parties. Vasco being a level 6 prisoner and being able to survive the fight down there during the raid showcases his strength and powers. We hope to see more of him in the future soon.

12. Kikipatsu, Maki, Tori and Stronger

Basically, Stronger is the horse of Doc Q, and it ate the Uma Uma no Mi, Model: Pegasus. This allows it to turn into the mythical creature Pegasus, thus, gifting them the power to fly using its wings.

Additionally, Maki, Tori, and Kikipatsu were introduced to the viewers while they were sitting next to Blackbeard in the Wano arc. There is no information available about them, but we hope to get explanations and confirmations soon. Since no information is revealed about these characters, they are ranked the lowest in our list of the Blackbeard Pirates.
