Connections Answer for December 13
Are you still stuck with the puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- GOLF COURSE PARTS – Bunker, Fairway, Green, Rough
- “I GIVE!” – Enough, Mercy, Stop, Uncle
- INDECENT – Bawdy, Blue, Coarse, Risque
- “-OUGH” WORDS THAT DON’T RHYME – Bough, Cough, Dough, Tough
I would like to state for the record that I hated today’s NYT Connections. I began my journey with the Yellow category by connecting Bunker and Fairway together. While it did take me a few minutes to figure out the rest of the words, I had it in the bag.
I was about to give up (pun intended) myself, but then I saw the connection between Mercy and Stop. I got fully stumped on Uncle and had to do a fair bit of Googling to get to the “Say Uncle” phrase. With that, I had the Green category.
I already knew the word Risque and Bawdy so I had a pretty good idea of where Blue was leading. I did get Coarse while my co-worker knew the word Blue itself was indecent for some reason.
Finally, I connected the last four words together, got the Purple category, and finally, the NYT Connections answers for December 13.
