Lenovo has come up with its brand new tablet, Lenovo A 7-50. This mid-range tablet was launched globally in April, 2014 along with Lenovo A 7-30, Lenovo A 8 and Lenovo A 10 but it took some time for it get launched in India. This tablet will mainly compete with the new Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 which have occupied this price segment in the Indian market. Let’s talk about its specifications in detail.
Lenovo A7-50 has been priced at Rs 15,499. This tablet has a display size of 7 Inches with HD resolution which means that the pixel density is only 216 ppi (gamers are not going to like this). It has got a primary camera of 5 MP and a secondary camera of 2 MP, which is decent when we are talking about tablets.
|Display||7 Inches, HD resolution (216 ppi)|
|Processor||Mediatek Quad Core Processor @ 1.3 GHz|
|Internal Storage||16 GB, Extendable up to 32 GB|
|OS||Android 4.2 (Jellybean)|
|Cameras||5 MP/ 2 MP|
The tablet comes with Mediatek Quad Core Processor MTK8382 operating at 1.3 GHz supported by the RAM of 1 GB. This tablet also supports the feature of voice calling. The internal memory available on the tablet is 16 GB which can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of external memory support.
Apart from the features mentioned above, the battery strength of this tablet is also really good which is 3450 mAh but not sure about the exact browsing time or stand-by time which may be available for the user.
Overall specification of the tablet is really nice but looking at its competitors like Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 etc, It will have to go through a good degree of competition. Though none of its competitors hold such powerful processor but as I mentioned earlier, tablet users do no prioritize the tablets on the basis of a processor.
The device is available on the official website of Lenovo and you can buy it online from the same link.
