How to Level up Fast in Fisch

Fisch has a brand new level cap, increasing the amount from 500 to 750. Moreover, with the introduction of craftable fishing rods in the latest Ancient Isles update, you might need to level up fast to claim all of them. Leveling up in the game will also help you put enchantments on your rod, thereby covering up their weaknesses, if any. Want to reach the top? Learn how to do so using our Fisch leveling-up guide here.

1. Level Up your Fishing Rods

As you begin playing Fisch, you will get spawned at Moosewood Island with just a Flimsy rod. This rod has 0 stats, however, you must use it to fish in this island, rather than going for another rod right now.

Keep fishing in Moosewood and complete other NPC missions (from Angler and Pierre) till you reach level 5. Now, you can head to the Shipwright, buy the cheapest boat for yourself, and reach Roslit Bay island. Here, you must buy the Steady rod for 7000 cash from the Blacksmith. This rod has great stats for its price and is a great choice for the early mid-game grind.

  • King's Rod Fisch
  • Trident Rod Fisch
  • Destiny Rod Fisch

Now, your next task is to keep saving until you make 205,000 cash. Now, you have three options to go for to complete the mid-game grind – The King’s Rod, Trident Rod, and the Destiny Rod. Each of these has its own unique strengths and passives. The King Rod is best for catching big and powerful fishes, the Trident rod is the most flexible of all, and the Destiny rod has the greatest luck stat in the game, helping you to collect the rarest mythical fishes of a bestiary.

Once you buy one of the above, you can keep grinding and aim for either the craftable or the endgame rods. The Rod of the Depths and the Heaven’s Rod are one of the best late game options. While during the end-game grind, you must switch over to No-Life Rod, Rod of the Eternal King, or Rod of the Forgotten Fang.

2. Choose the Best Fishing Spots

Being a beginner in Fisch, you might need some good fishing spots that would give you some high-value fish. As you spend some time in Moosewood and save enough to buy a boat, the next best location to fish is the coral reefs of Roslit Bay.

Here, you will find huge mythical Manta Rays that can give you an average of 1000 XP. The Manta Rays are best found during Summer Nights, and their favorite bait is Shrimp.

Another great alternative to Roslit Bay is the Forsaken Shores. The Forsaken Shores has a freshwater pond near the waterfall that has a great availability of the mythical Captain’s Goldfish. It will give you 2800 XP on a single catch.

Other places to farm XP include the Ancient Isles, where you can farm mythical fishes for 2500-3000 XP each. Then comes the Cryogenic Canal and the Grand Reef. The former is located near the 4th campsite on the Northern Expedition island, while the latter is located beside the Forsaken Shores.

Finally, the best location to get fishes with highest XP is the Kraken Pool in Atlantis. Here you have the only chance of catching the Exotic Kraken that grants you 10,000 XP on each catch.

3. Apply the Best Enchantments

Some of the best enchantments to go for if you are only looking to boost your XP include Insight and Clever. Clever was added during the Ancient Isles update giving you 2.25 times more XP on every catch. It’s an upgrade to Insight that gives 1.5x times more XP everytime.

There are other enchantments for your fishing rods that can help you catch better fish in the game. For instance, you can apply Hasty or Swift to the best rod in your inventory to boost the lure speed helping you to catch them a lot faster.

Applying Resilient, Controlled, or Steady will help you catch strong fish easily. Whereas, if you use Divine or Lucky, you might increase your chances of finding rarer fishes. Lastly, Abyssal and Quality would give you a boost in the overall stats of the rod. Any other enchantments are not that worth it in either leveling up or getting any better fishes.

4. Craft Some Rods

The Crafting feature is the latest addition to Fisch introduced in the Ancient Isles update. Now, you can craft a fishing rod simply by unlocking the door in the Ancient Archives. Currently, there are 10 craftable rods in the game, each having unique passives and requiring different base materials to craft them.

  • Wisdom Rod Fisch
  • Celestial Rod Fisch
  • Rod of the Forgotten Fang

The Wisdom Rod is the best choice for beginners as it offers 70-100% bonus XP on every 5th catch. The next best rod for XP is the Celestial Rod, which has a passive ability that boosts your overall stats and provides a 30% bonus XP after catching 85 fish.

Lastly, the Rod of the Forgotten Fang can provide you with an extremely rare fish on every five perfect catches. All of these are fantastic choices to level up superfast in the game and can give you quite a lot of XP if you stack the boosts together.

5. Get an XP Boost

Another way to level up fast in Fisch is by buying the Double XP boost at the shop for 199 Robux. Once you buy this item, go to the nearest best fishing location, as discussed above, and use an Aurora Totem for a 6x Luck boost.

You may even bring your friends who can continue this event. The reason is that using a single Aurora totem puts a lot of load on a single player since you need to either buy one for 500,000 cash or get one from Treasure Chests.

Pair up the best rod with an ideal enchantment and fish in the Depths, Forsaken Shores, Roslit Bay, or the Harvester’s Spike to get a lot of XP within a few hours into the game. Stacking all the XP boosts together will ultimately give you a huge XP gain in a single catch.

So, these tips and tricks will help you level up easily and smoothly in Fisch. Make sure to save a lot in the beginning for better rods, and you will have a fun experience later on. Got other tips for us to add? Let us know in the comments below!
