Pass through the portal with your boat and you will get transported to a new location having the Northern Expedition Island only. Once you reach the island you may follow the given steps below to get the rod:
- As you step on the island, take the path on your left and cross the water by stepping on ice. Carefully tread on the frictionless surface and use the stairs to cross them.
- You will notice that there are orange and grey colored stairs on the mountain’s body. Keep using them to climb up to the first camp.
- Having reached the first checkpoint, take the path in front of the campfire and again keep following the stairs to reach the top.
- Now, you will notice a cave in front of you that is the first area of fishing in this region. Turn around and take the snowy path to go up further.
- Keep following this snowy path and you will reach a cliff. Use your glider to cross this region and move to the next area.
- A little ahead, you will find a couple of stairs. Use these to head to the top and you will reach the second checkpoint.
