Grow a Garden 2 Weather Events List
Weather events are one of the best ways to get mutations in Grow a Garden 2. Several events spawn randomly. However, there is a fixed timer for each. So, make sure you check the table below and learn what GAG 2 weather events give and how long they last:
Weather Duration Effects
Rain5 minutes 2x Growth Speed to all plants
Lightning5 minutes Gives Shocked/ Electric mutation to random crops
Rainbow5 minutes Increases rainbow fruit chance
Snowfall/ Blizzard2 minutes 30 seconds Gives Frozen mutation to random crops

Rainbow Moon2 minutes Stealing fruits makes them rainbow
Rain
The rain event is one of the most frequent and longer weathers in GAG 2. It improves the growth speed of your garden. So, stack your Grow a Garden 2 plants and wait for the rain event. This will help you grow bigger plants and crops.
Lightning
When the thunder starts, the lightning event presents itself in the lobby for a short duration. When lightning strikes a plant, random crops get the Electric (shocked) mutation in Grow a Garden 2. It improves the selling value by 25x.
Rainbow
The Rainbow event spawns a massive rainbow spanning across the play area. During this event, you have a higher chance of getting the rainbow mutation (10x) on your fruit. So, if you have lots of plants in your garden, then harvest the fruits to get more rainbow fruits. Or, if you are hoarding single-yield seeds, then plant them in your garden for a higher rainbow mutation chance.
Snowfall/ Blizzard
Winter comes in the GAG 2 lobby the moment the snowfall event starts. During this event, also called the Blizzard event, crops can receive the frozen mutation, which has a 3x value multiplier.
Starfall
Starfall is one of the best events in Grow a Garden 2 as it starstrucks any random crop from your garden. It turns the whole sky filled with shooting stars with a moon at the top. It also gives a solid value multiplier to crops, which means just like how you never forget grabbing the Grow a Garden 2 codes, it is important to attend every lightning event.
Rainbow Seed
Rainbow seed is a unique event in the game. During this event, the whole lobby turns rainbow, and random rainbow mutated seeds start spawning. Go near them and hold E to collect. These seeds can end up being any rarity of plants in the game, so never miss them.
Gold (Midas) Seed
The Midas or gold seed event is similar to the rainbow event but spawns gold seeds instead. Just like the other seed event, the seeds you claim have a chance to give any plant with the gold mutation.
Rainbow Moon
This night-specific event turns the moon into a disco ball. During the event, it can strike the players with a rainbow buff. While having the buff, stealing crops from others makes them rainbow mutated.
That ends the list of all weather events in Grow a Garden 2 that you can participate in. Which one are you excited to take part in for some extra progress? Let us know in the comments.
Starfall is the rarest weather in GAG 2, along with the Rainbow Seed event.
Starfall and Lightning are generally the most profitable weather events because they apply valuable mutations to crops, significantly increasing their selling price.
