The first two Frozen films arrived on the big screens in 2013 and 2019, respectively. Fans expected the third film to be released sometime in 2025, following the same pattern. However, their guessing game flopped in February 2024 when Bob Iger revealed that they plan to release Frozen 3 in November 2026 along with Toy Story 5.

Recently, at the D23 event on August 10, 2024, we learned that the release date for the film has been pushed to 2027. The creators have yet to announce a confirmed release date, but the eager fans have already started the speculations. Some fans believe that the first two films were released during Thanksgiving, so there is a possibility that we will get the third film on November 27 or 28, 2027. However, nothing can be said with full assurance until an official announcement regarding the same surfaces.

Who Will Be in the Cast of Frozen 3

Following Bob Iger’s announcement that Frozen 3 has entered production, Josh Gad was the first to confirm his role as Olaf in the threequel through his social media handle. Our beloved Elsa, Idina Menzel, also confirmed her return in an interview. In addition to them, Kristen Bell made an appearance on The Tonight Show, which starred Jimmy Fallon in 2022. She certainly talked about Frozen 3 but didn’t say anything about her role in detail.

We didn’t hear anything from any other voice actors besides them. There’s plenty of time for the film to get developed so let’s not lose patience and wait for the actors to confirm their roles.
