A new set of episodes from the show has been released and in the seventh episode, we see Spider-Man go toe to toe with The Scorpion, and during that fight, something happens that points towards the arrival of The Green Goblin in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
Is Green Goblin in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?

This animated series is set in a completely different universe which is evident in the way Peter got his powers, Norman Osborn being Spider-Man’s mentor, and Harry being the guy in the chair. While, in this timeline, Norman Osborn is the good guy, it seems like this has not changed who he is. In the fight between Spider-Man and The Scorpion, Peter is badly beaten, and just when The Scorpion is going to kill him, a glider comes in and rescues Spider-Man.
The Glider has a striking resemblance to the Goblin’s glider and there is a possibility that eventually, Norman Osborn will turn into the Green Goblin in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. In the scene where doctors are treating a heavily injured Peter, we see that one of the doctors takes a sample of Peter’s blood.
There is a possibility that Norman Osborn is suffering from a terminal illness in this universe instead of Harry and he believes that Spider-Man’s blood might hold the key to saving his life. If this theory stands true, there is a high chance that the experiment will go wrong turning Norman Osborn into the Green Goblin in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Now, only time will tell how true this theory stands to be. So stay tuned with us to find out what happens!
