Today, Facebook announced on its Hackercup page that registrations for Hacker Cup 2012 is now open. It is an algorithmic programming contest open to engineers from around the world.
Hacker Cup will be having 3 online rounds followed by finals at Facebook Headquarters for Top 25 hackers who will qualify in first three online rounds.

On prizes part, first prize is $5,000, $2,000 for second place, $1,000 for third, and $100 upto 25th place plus awesome t-shirts for the top 100 hackers coming out of the second online round.
