Mobile phones have become such a significant existence in our lives that our existence without them doesn’t exist anymore.

The recent revelation that has caught the world by storm pertains to the fact that our world is known to be the most tech-savy has more mobile phones than the number of people living here. The article published by the Times of India has given a resounding victory to the mobile phone. In comparison to people on earth that is hovering in between 7.19 to 7.2 billion, mobile phone are stated to be 7.22 billion presently.

Kevin Kimberlin, Chairman of Spencer Trask & Co. said, “No other technology has impacted us like the mobile phone. It’s the fastest growing manmade phenomenon ever — from zero to 7.2 billion in three decades”.

The most intriguing aspect is that the revelation mentions, it’s not like that everyone in the world has mobile phones. Much to everyone’s amazement, more than half the world still don’t own a mobile phone. What this tells us is that the average for each person using mobile phones will have almost two phones with him/her self.
