After originally unveiling it at CES 2018 in Las Vegas earlier this year, German audio equipment manufacturer, Beyerdynamic, has finally launched the Amiron Wireless headphones in India. Based on the Amiron Home, the wireless version of the company’s popular headphones brings almost the exact same design aesthetic, materials and acoustics of its illustrious counterpart, and features the company’s proprietary Tesla technology.
The headphones feature a closed circumaural design, and come with Tesla transducers that the company claims will offer “deep, precise bass, full, natural mids and silky-clear highs”. The company further claims that the soft cushions around the headphone reduces the ambient noise and improves the acoustic detail.
It can be hooked up to smartphones over Bluetooth 4.2 using Beyerdynamic’s MIY (Make It Yours) app, which is available on both Android and iOS. The app can also be used to personalize individual hearing profiles using a hearing test formulated by German audio specialists, MiMi. The device also supports all the latest codecs, such as Qualcomm aptX, aptX LL and aptX HD, Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) and Low Complexity Subband Codec (SBC).
In its press statement, the company said, “With Amiron wireless, music becomes a dynamic experience in every room and even the finest nuances become audible like never before. The innovative sound personalization via the ground-breaking MIY app takes these closed over-ear headphones to a completely new level of perfection”.
The Beyerdynamic Amiron headphones come with a whole host of additional accessories, including a connecting cable with remote control, a 3.5mm mini-jack and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. The device has been priced at Rs. 59,990, and will soon be available online.
