Anime Zero features an Evolution system that helps you awaken the full potential of your weapons. Evolving a weapon unlocks its ultimate ability, completing its moveset and giving you another powerful skill to use in combat. Each weapon has its own requirements, so you will need to collect specific materials before completing the process. In this guide, learn how to evolve and awaken weapons in Anime Zero, what evolution does, and how to farm evolution materials.

What Does Evolution Do in Anime Zero?

Evolution unlocks the ultimate ability of Anime Zero weapons, giving you access to their fourth skill. Before evolving a weapon, you can use its basic attack and three skills, but the ultimate remains locked.

Evolving a weapon is especially useful if you plan to use it as your main damage dealer. It completes the weapon’s moveset and gives you another powerful ability to use during combat.

Keep in mind that each weapon has its own evolution requirements. You should check the Evolution menu before farming materials, as the items and quantities needed can differ between weapons.

How to Evolve Weapons in Anime Zero

Evolution of weapons depends on requirements. While the process is simple, not all weapons are worth the upgrade. So, check the Anime Zero tier list, then follow these steps to evolve your weapon:

• Open the Areas menu from the lobby.
• Select the Evolution area and travel to the Evolution NPC.
• Choose the weapon you want to evolve.
• Check the requirements displayed in the Evolution menu.
• Collect the required materials and meet any other listed requirements.
• Return to the Evolution NPC and select Evolve Character to complete the upgrade.

How to Farm Evolution Materials in Anime Zero

Infinite Mode is another option for collecting materials. You can obtain drops from later waves and bosses, making it worth considering once your weapon is strong enough to survive longer runs.
