Traits are one of the most important parts of Anime Origins, as they can improve a unit’s stats and make it more effective in battle. Traits are available through rerolls, which you can get from playing the game, quests, or Anime Origins codes. They are divided into different rarities, so you know which ones are harder to roll. But as the rarity improves, you get better stats and some events with unique passives.

How to Reroll Traits in Anime Origins
Once you gather enough Trait Rerolls, follow these simple steps to change your traits for units in Anime Origins:
- Click the Areas button from the right menu.
- Click the Trait Reroll option and walk close to the NPC.
- Select the unit and click Reroll to change the trait.
- Each unit may store two traits, but only one is usable as active.

The best traits to roll for are Immortal, Ascendant, and Overseer, thanks to their powerful Damage boosts and additional effects. Rupture and Stride are also excellent choices for damage-focused units, especially when their crit or attack tempo mechanics fit the unit. For general use, Ace is a great roll because it gives Damage, Cooldown, and Range at the same time.
