Just like other collector games on Roblox, Ride A Pet lets you add mutations or traits to your pets in the game. However, they are more than just money multipliers, as you also need faster pets in the game. Luckily, mutations help you with that too. Full Ride A Pet Mutations List
Ride A Pet currently has several mutations divided between hatch mutations, Weather Traits, and the special ones like the Magma Mutation. Hatch mutations are applied when the eggs in Ride A Pet hatch. On the other hand, Weather Traits are obtained when pets in Ride A Pet or the eggs are affected by the corresponding weather event.

Gold Mutation
Gold is a hatch mutation that can appear when you hatch an egg. It has a 10% hatch chance and gives the pet a 2x multiplier to Speed and Money.
Diamond Mutation
Diamond is a rarer hatch mutation with a 1% hatch chance. A Diamond pet receives a 7x multiplier to its Speed and Money stats.
Rainbow Mutation
Rainbow is the rarest of the three standard hatch mutations in Ride A Pet, with a 0.5% hatch chance. It gives the pet a 15x multiplier to Speed and Money.
Shocked Mutation
Shocked is a Weather Trait connected to the Shocked weather event in Ride A Pet. It gives a 2x multiplier to the pet’s Speed and Money.
Volted Mutation
Volted comes from the Volted weather event and gives a 3x Speed and Money multiplier. It is stronger than Shocked and can replace a weaker Weather Trait when applied to a pet.
Rage Mutation
Rage is obtained during the Rage weather event and gives a 4x multiplier to Speed and Money. Keep your pets on the ranch when the appropriate weather event begins to give them a chance of being struck.
Void Mutation
Void is a Weather Trait with a 7x Speed and Money multiplier. It comes from the Void weather event and is considerably stronger than Shocked, Volted, and Rage.
Magma Mutation
Magma is a special mutation that does not come from a normal weather event or from hatching. To attempt it, take an egg to the volcano and dip it into the lava.
You get one attempt per egg, with a 15% chance of successfully applying Magma. A successful attempt adds eight seconds to the egg’s duration, while a failed attempt returns the egg to your hand and removes five seconds from its remaining duration.
How Traits and Mutations Work in Ride A Pet
As we said before, Ride A Pet separates its mutations into hatch mutations and Weather Traits. So, it is always important to check if there is any normal or admin weather event happening in Ride A Pet. This helps you know whether to use the radars in Ride A Pet to risk for a high-rarity egg with mutations.
A pet can have one hatch mutation and one Weather Trait at the same time, allowing the two categories to stack together. However, a pet cannot have multiple Weather Traits, so receiving a stronger Weather Trait replaces the weaker one rather than adding another trait.
Weather Traits can affect pets and eggs during their corresponding events, while pets stored in the inventory are not eligible for these weather effects. Keep in mind that the hatch mutations are permanent once a pet hatches with Gold, Diamond, or Rainbow.
Given that the game doesn’t have any tools to remove mutations or traits, making most of the weather events is important. If you are hunting the Solaris Egg in Ride A Pet, make sure you hatch it only during the Mutation Madness admin event for a higher mutation chance.
