Squid Game 2 has revealed that Kang No-Eul played by Park-Gyu-young is a North Korean refugee. She has escaped North Korea and has lost her daughter who she still believes to be alive and is actively looking for her. However, there is a massive twist to this story. While she tried to hire people to look after her child, when they turned out to be unsuccessful Kang No-eul joined the game as one of the members of the masked crew.
She did this because The Recruiter promised help to look for Kang No-eul’s daughter. While she was working as a guard she tried to help some players including player 246 who is her former co-worker at the a, amusement park with a daughter who has cancer.
