The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 3 gave us our first glimpse at the members of the ritualistic cult called Seraphites. While it’s too early to expect any action, the latest episode showed how brutal things can get when Seraphites enter into the game. Season 2 Episode 4 of the HBO series sees Ellie and Dina encountering several disemboweled hanging bodies, and while following the blood stains on the ground, the former reads the text on the wall — “Feel Her Love.” So, what does that mean? Let’s find out.
What Does the ‘Feel Her Love’ Message Left by Seraphites Mean?

The Seraphites are highly devoted to a mysterious woman called the Prophet, who believed that technology was the reason for the world’s suffering. Her teachings are the primary reason for the cult’s hatred of the Washington Liberation Front, the organization that uses high-end weapons and resources.
So, even though Seraphites use traditional weaponry like hammers, axes, bows, and arrows, they want to show the world that they are no less than the Wolves, aka the WLF. That’s why whenever they kill a WLF soldier, they write ‘Feel Her Love’ with their blood on the walls of the buildings in Seattle.
The Prophet is dead, but her guiding hand is still on them; well, that’s what Seraphites believe, so with this text message, they want the survivors to join them for the greater cause. They want to take full control of the city and help it get rid of all the technology. Seraphites are fanatical devotees of the Prophet who believe their leader can never be wrong, and that’s why they want everyone to feel her love.
Interestingly, the message has a catch. In the video game, the message gives the players a hint of Seraphite’s existence, adding a suspense element to the narrative. Players wonder who exactly is writing this message while exploring different areas, and the reveal of Seraphites happens after they come across this message several times.
On the other hand, the HBO series sees Dina and Ellie come across the text messages after they have already seen some dead seraphites on their way to Seattle. So, they have a sense that a “cult faction” like this exists.
