The Boys Season 4 Episode 5 is here and it has brought back a character we have previously seen in Gen V and no, I am not talking about Sam or Kate but Tek Knight. In Gen V, we saw that Tek Knight is a super detective who uses his abilities to solve crimes on live TV. Now, the thing is, the Tek Knight we have seen up to now is not an actual depiction of how he is in the comics. So, in this article, find out who Tek Knight is in The Boys.
Tek Knight Is a Twisted Ripoff of Iron Man in the Boys Comics
In Gen V, we were first introduced to Tek Knight as a detective but there’s more to that character than we have seen yet. In the comics, Tek Knight’s real name is Robert Vernon. He is a super rich supe who built himself a suit of armor that allows him to fly and is equipped with a wide range of weapons. A small glimpse of that suit is shown to us in the character selection menu of Vogue Tournament of Heroes when Ryan is playing the game.
However, being a character in The Boys, this ripoff of Iron Man has been given a wicked twist. After he was given Compound V, he developed a psychological condition that caused him to be sexually attracted to not just humans but almost anything. There are instances in the comics where he has also tried to attack his butler. Now I’m not sure if The Boys Season 4 will show us this (I hope they don’t) but it’s The Boys after all, so nothing is off-limits.
As of now, we have not seen Tek Knight put on his suit of armor in The Boys Season 4 but let’s wait and see if that happens or not. Till then, stay tuned with us for further updates!
