The Solo Leveling universe features various kinds of hunters coming together to form guilds and defend the planet against the monstrous creatures from gates. The guild system came into existence when the gates started appearing and humans awakened as hunters. Solo Leveling has several guilds in countries around the world with the most powerful hunters leading them. So, if you’re wondering about the strongest guilds in Solo Leveling, we have the answer for you.
There are more than 24 Guilds worldwide in Solo Leveling. However, not all of them were detailed by the author. Only a handful of guilds were showcased in the manhwa, and we have ranked the top guilds in Solo Leveling below.
10. Knights Guild
The Knights Guild was an unusual type of guild as it comprised only A-Rank Hunters. In fact, it was led by Guild Master Park Jongsoo, an A-Rank Hunter. Despite not having an S-Rank Hunter as their master, this guild managed to get all the A-Ranks out there in Korea.
In the end, the Knights Guild made a new record for having the most A-Rank hunters than any other guild from their nation. Furthermore, it was ranked fifth among the top five guilds in Korea. The most memorable members of this guild were Park Jongsoo and Jung Yoontae who appeared in the earlier storylines.
9. Fame Guild
Manhwa fans might remember Ma Dongwook from the Jeju Island Raid Party as he was one of the main tankers. In case you aren’t aware, this S-Rank Hunter was the guild master of the Fame Guild.
Fame was ranked fourth among the top 5 Korean guilds. Not much is known about this guild. Like the Knights Guild, the Fame Guild also had a special case of having the highest number of high-ranked mages rather than fighters.
8. Fiend Guild
Did you know that the Fiend Guild used to be the most powerful guild representing Korea? This record began to crumble after the guild’s strongest members left to start their own guild, which is the White Tiger Guild led by Baek Yoonho.
Although this Korean guild lost most of its vital members, it still stands tall today as the third-best guild in Korea. It is currently led by Lim Tae-Gyu and Lee Minsung who are striving to lead it back to its glory days. The Fiend Guild is also known as the Reapers Guild or the Grim Reapers, as evident from the guild’s iconic emblem.
7. White Tiger Guild
In the world of Solo Leveling, Baek Yoonho grew in power and surpassed the Fiend Guild’s masters. So, he parted ways with the guild and formed the White Tiger Guild. He set out to make White Tiger the number one guild in Korea but was beaten by the Hunters Guild. Thus, they became the second-most powerful guild, but this should not be taken lightly as well.
This is one of the most well-managed guilds from what we have seen in the story. It had proper rules, management departments, and everything in place to run the guild perfectly without running into any danger.
However, they did run into danger once with the Red Gate where Jinwoo assassinated their raid leader, Kim Chul, to turn him into a powerful shadow soldier named Iron.
6. Asura Guild
Siddharth Bachchan was a well-known name among fans as he was one of the strongest National Level hunters in Solo Leveling. Before that, Siddharth became the strongest hunter hailing from India and started the Asura guild. This guild, later on, became the supreme guild in India.
Unfortunately, the story didn’t delve into details about Siddharth and his guild. But, the ongoing sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, shed some light on them. Asura Guild has the citizens of India at its heart as Siddharth always aimed to protect the people.
Other than Siddharth, we only know of one other member, Rio Singh, a B-Rank hunter who held the Guild Hunter position.
5. Hunters Guild
The Hunters Guild reigned supreme as the best guild in Korea (till Jinwoo started the Ahjin Guild) and was also the country’s biggest guild. Unlike any other guild from Korea, Hunters Guild was the only association to have two S-Rank Hunters under the same roof which was Choi Jong-In and Cha Hae-In. The former was the Guild Master and the latter remained as the Vice Guild Master.
Hunters Guild operated well in Korea as they had multiple strike squads and mining teams to carry out the dungeon-clearing missions smoothly. This guild also boasted a great number of A-ranks (not up to the Knights Guild though) as well as B-ranks to keep being the best when it came to protecting the country.
4. Draw Sword Guild
Imagine having 11 S-Rank hunters in your guild, now that is the Blade Guild, aka the Draw Sword Guild, for you! The second biggest guild in Asia was previously led by Goto Ryuji. This Guild Master was the most powerful hunter in Japan at that time.
The Draw Sword Guild was ranked and respected highly until the Jeju Island raid. Even with eleven elite hunters, the Blade Guild was completely annihilated by the ants during the raid.
In the end, the Ant King massacred seven out of eleven S-rank hunters, and this list included their master Goto as well. Jeju Island Raid turned out to be a curse for the Draw Sword Guild as it led to the guild’s downfall. However, the remaining four S-rank hunters work with their new guild master, Reiji Sugimoto, to restore the guild to greatness.
3. China Guild Association
Liu Zhigang, the second-most powerful hunter in the world, was the leader of the unnamed Chinese guild. So the fans called it the China Guild Association and the details of this guild remain unknown to this day. But we knew that it was one of the largest guilds hailing from Asia.
This guild became the strongest Chinese guild after the Gold Dragon Guild went extinct. Even though we don’t know much about it, having a National Level hunter who ranked second in overall rankings is more than enough to say they are one of the strongest guilds in Solo Leveling.
2. Scavenger Guild
Thomas Andre, the highest-ranking hunter in the world and the mightiest hunter in America, was the leader of the Scavenger Guild. It was the strongest guild in existence until Jinwoo started his own guild. The Scavenger Guild was also said to have the highest number of S-Rank hunters in the world, but the hunter count was never revealed in the story.
Even Hwang Dongsoo (the punching bag of the Sung family), the S-Rank hunter from Korea was a member of this guild. The guild was so large that it carried out its duty across the whole of the US and even sent hunters to assist in clearing dungeons in other countries.
The number 1 National Level hunter ran the guild expertly and will always be the best in the hunter business.
1. Ahjin Guild
Sung Jinwoo received the best of the best offers from various guilds around the world throughout the story. Ultimately, Jinwoo started his own guild along with Yoo Jinho.
On paper, it might look like they had only 3 members but when you count Jinwoo’s shadow army, it was game over for every other guild. Thus, Jinwoo’s Ahjin easily became not just the strongest guild in Korea but also across the entire globe.
Ahjin only had one S-Rank hunter who wasn’t officially a National Level Hunter as well. However, we are well aware of how Jinwoo as the Shadow Monarch was an omnipotent figure. Along with his loyal shadow army by his side, there was no debate about Ahjin being the strongest guild in the Solo Leveling series.
Details about other well-known guilds were never disclosed in the original manhwa. However, the sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is currently revealing more details about some of these guilds. For example, the unnamed Indian guild was revealed to be the Asura Guild. So, we can hope that more information will be released soon. The S-Rank was the highest rank according to the rank system. However, there is one more special title called the National Level Hunter which is only given to the best of the best S-Rank hunters.
