One Piece Day event is celebrated every year to commemorate the beginning of the greatest pirate adventure of our lives. As we have entered July of 2024, it’s that time of the year again, and we are ready to kick off the celebrations to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime. So, learn about One Piece Day 2024, including the events planned to honor the majestical journey of the Straw Hats Pirates over the past two decades.
When is One Piece Day 2024?
The One Piece manga was first serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump on July 22, 1997, and that day is now observed annually as One Piece Day. The 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime coincides with this year’s celebrations.
The Japan Anniversary Association has also given the green light to celebrate the official One Piece Day starting this year. Therefore, Toei Studios, Shueisha, and Bandai Namco have come together to organize massive celebrations to be enjoyed by the fans. It will be held on August 9 and 10.
Where Will One Piece Day 2024 Be Organized?
It has been confirmed that the events for One Piece Day will take place over two days — August 9 and August 10. This year’s annual event will take place at Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Chiba City, Japan.
This time we will have two new venues — the Live Area and the renovated Exhibition Area. All the events will take place on the aforementioned dates at the same time over two days.

- Exhibition Area — a special exhibition, special open stage, Bounty Rush Extreme Treasure Festival, merchandise, and more
Where to Watch One Piece Day 2024 Celebrations?
For those living in Japan, you can book your tickets on the One Piece Day website right here. As for fans living outside Japan, you need not worry as there will be a live stream on One Piece’s official YouTube channel.
The celebrations will be broadcast live on YouTube on August 9, 2024, starting at 7:00 PM PDT and on August 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM PDT. If you are curious about what the schedule looks like, here you go:
