As revealed by the New York Times, the theme for today’s Strands is “Can I have my quarter back?”. This is definitely one of the longest Strands theme hints I have ever seen. However, it’s straightforward for football lovers in the U.S.

Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is – “_____ makes the dream work”.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are hints to two out of six theme words that may help you:

I couldn’t understand what the Strands theme meant today. First, it made me think about currency due to quarters, but I quickly figured out it was about quarterbacks. However, my knowledge in the ways of American Football is limited, so I was at a loss today.
Still, I accidentally stumbled upon COWBOY in the top right and then found DOLPHIN right next to it. It was after this that I hit a wall and had to use a hint. The first hint highlighted PANTHER for me and the second hint TITAN. Yes, I am that clueless about Football (not Soccer, though).
In the bottom left, I finally found PATRIOT. That led me straight to locating TEAMPLAYERS as the Spangram for the day.
