With a collection of smartphones and accessories available on its online web store, Xiaomi is widely known to operate sales and events from time to time. The Chinese giant is today organizing one such sale event called Mi 24 Hour Madness, which hands over the task of getting the prize slashed over to you.
Yes, you read that right! The Mi 24 Hour Madness event, which kicked off today lets you purchase a ‘selected range of Mi products’ at 50 percent discount or just Re 1.
To get the discount, you need to head to the Mi Mobile website (right here) and select the product you want to buy. Tap on the ‘Participate Now’ button, followed by the ‘Drop Price Now’ button to slash the price according to the product you’ve chosen. The products whose price can be dropped to Re 1 include the Mi Band – HRX Edition, Mi Earphones Basic, and Mi Casual Backpack.
This will generate a shareable link, which you need to circulate to your friends and family. Now they have to follow the same steps to bring the price down even more. If enough people click on your link and follow the process to drop the price, you could buy the product for just Re 1.
It must be noted, that you need an Mi account to be able to drop the price. And if you don’t have one, you can create one right away as Xiaomi is also offering new users (who register during the event) a coupon pack of Rs 850, which doesn’t seem like that bad of a deal.
