LG hasn’t really made a mark in the budding Indian smartphone market. However, the company now wants a piece of the Indian market, and it plans to do so with the new W series. The company, along with Amazon, has been teasing a new W series of budget smartphones, aimed specially at the Indian market. Reportedly, the LG W10 is going to be first smartphone in this new W series of phones and according to a leaked invite, the LG W10 is all set to be unveiled on June 26 in India.
As you can see in the invite, the LG W10 will be launched at 11:30AM on June 26 in New Delhi, India. The W10 will be an Amazon special device in India and thanks to the Amazon landing page of the device, we know some key specs of the phone.
The LG W10 will feature a teardrop notch 6.2″ display, a gradient finish on the back, a slim profile and it will come in multiple color options. On the camera front, the W10 will have triple cameras including a usual primary camera, an ultra wide angle lens and a depth sensor. Other than that, the W10 will come with a 2.0GHz 10nm Octa-Core processor, which could be the MediaTek Helip P60 or the Snapdragon 439, a 4,000 mAh battery and Android 9 Pie on board.
The specs of the LG W10 seem decent for a budget phone but at the end of the day, it all depends on the price, which should be revealed on June 26, if the leaked invite is to be believed.
