Asa Suehira, Crunchyroll’s Chief Content Officer, stated “It’s part of our service to fans when we can make popular titles more accessible.” Furthermore, “these titles will be part of the 1,000 hours of Crunchyroll’s library available free for fans as a way of sampling the world of anime, building new audiences, and growing the already passionate community,” he added.

This is a much-welcome move from Crunchyroll and will be appreciated by fans, as they care more about the anime community and even give them opportunities to kick-start their anime journey this way. It’s no wonder that Crunchyroll is leading when it comes to top anime streaming platforms.
