Fortnite has had plenty of rare cosmetics over the years, and among them all, the Merry Mint Pickaxe, also known as Minty Axe, is one of the rarest of them all and is still a fan favorite. Another similarly designed pickaxe called the Candy Axe was also insanely popular among fans due to its holiday-themed design. Now, one more leaked Fortnite pickaxe that resembles both pickaxes, called the Crystallized Punisher (also known as Crystal Candy Axe), is going viral, and if you’re wondering if it’s out in the game yet, here’s what we know.
Is the Crystallized Punisher Pickaxe Out in Fortnite Yet?
No, the Crystallized Punisher Pickaxe or the Crystal Candy Axe is not out in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 yet. The pickaxe was leaked by popular Fortnite dataminers such as HYPEX and ShiinaBR since it was found in game files that were deployed with the Fortnitemares 2026 update on October 1, 2026.
Since then, the pickaxe has gone viral because of its purple candy axe-style body, wrapped with glowing purple string lights, and it resembles the Candy Axe from Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 and the Merry Mint Axe from the same season, which also had glowing lights and emitted a glow of a different color. The Crystallized Punisher is a reactive pickaxe with its official description that states, “Bring a sinister light to the darkness.”
However, several content creators are claiming online that you can get the Crystallized Punisher Pickaxe using certain methods that involve following your favorite creator and using a secret Lobby Hack code in Fortnite.
Can You Use Lobby Hacks to Get the Crystal Candy Axe in Fortnite for Free?
No, there’s no Fortnite Lobby Hack available at the moment that you can redeem to get the Crystallized Punisher Pickaxe or Crystal Candy Axe in Fortnite.
The viral video that’s circulating on social media by a content creator called Relishh is fake and purely clickbait, as it claims that after you enter their Support-A-Creator code in the Item Shop and use the “AxeOfSupportChat” Lobby Hack code, you’ll get the Crystallized Punisher pickaxe for free.
Unfortunately, this method is fake, as the video has been morphed and edited in such a way that it makes it look like a legit method to get the Crystal Candy Axe in Fortnite. Once Epic releases this pickaxe in-game, we’ll update this article with the exact steps, so make sure to check back in when it’s out.
According to current speculation, the Crystallized Punisher Pickaxe may be a Fortnite gift card code redemption reward upon purchasing and redeeming a V-Bucks card from qualifying retailers like GameStop or Walmart during Halloween, which falls on October 31. So keep an eye out on those retailer websites for official info on the pickaxe’s availability.
