With the latest FischFright 3 update of Fisch, we got many new rods to unlock. One of them is the Boglin Branch Rod, and to get your hands on it, you must complete quests from goblins that spawn on different islands. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock the Boglin Branch Rod in Fisch.

How to Obtain Boglin Branch Rod in Fisch

To get the Boglin Branch Rod in Fisch, you need to complete a quest from the Youngster Goblin NPC at the Caustic Hollow. Obtaining the Boglin Branch rewards 5,000 XP in the Rod Journal.

Follow these steps to learn how to find the NPC and start the quest:

• From Moosewood Island, head towards the big green glowing ship on the south.
• Climb the ship and talk to the Dutchman captain and select “Set Sail!” to travel to the event area.
• You will arrive at Caustic Hallow.
• From the fountain, head straight down the middle lane.
• Take a right towards the house no. 506.
• You will spot a tiny goblin NPC named Youngster Goblin NPC by the house.
• Talk to the Youngster Goblin.

How to Complete Fisch Youngster Goblin Questline

Once you interact with Youngster Goblin, he will give you a questline that you need to complete. Here are the objectives:

• Complete 3 Goblin quests of Normal difficulty or higher.
• Bring 10 of any witch’s ingredients to the Youngster Goblin.
• Obtain a Boglin Skull for the Youngster Goblin.
• Obtain a Boglin Twig for the Youngster Goblin.
• Obtain Boglin Wraps for the Youngster Goblin.

Complete 3 Goblin Quests on Normal Difficulty or Higher

The first objective is to complete three goblin quests on normal difficulty or higher. Every 5 minutes, up to 3 goblins spawn on different islands around the map; once they do, you will see the notification at the bottom of your screen telling the exact island where they spawned.

At first, you can only access the easy difficulty. To unlock higher difficulty, you need to give Beatrix the witch NPC ingredients you collect from the goblin quests. Keep completing the quests and submit the ingredients to raise your HEX level to unlock harder difficulty goblins.

Bring 10 Witch’s Ingredients

The next objective is quite simple: you just need to bring 10 ingredients that you have collected and submit them to the Youngster Goblin. Make sure to bring all the ingredients to the Youngster Goblin and not Beatrix.

Obtain a Boglin Skull

For this part, you need to find a Boglin skull and bring it back to the Youngster Goblin. You can get this rare item by completing goblin quests around the map, so keep grinding until you obtain it.

Obtain a Boglin Twig

Just like the Boglin Skull, you will need a Boglin Twig. Continue completing Goblin quests till you get it.

Obtain Boglin Wraps

Boglin Wraps are also rare items you get by completing goblin quests.

Once you have all the ingredients, head back to the Youngster Goblin and turn in to get your reward: the Boglin Branch Rod.

Boglin Branch Rod Passive in Fisch

The Boglin Branch Rod has a 25% chance of applying Boglin mutation to the fish you are reeling in. It increases the value of the fish you catch by six times, making it a decent money-making rod. Pair the rod with the right Fisch enchantments, and it can be a great farming rod.

However, the rod also helps you catch fish much more easily through the special mechanics. Every 2 seconds, there is a 25% chance for a Trap to drop on the minigame. This trap lasts for 4 seconds, preventing the fish from moving past the Trap.

Furthermore, the minigame has a 30% chance to hit the fish, granting +30% Progress. There is also a 10% chance to receive a bonus Witch’s Ingredient from Goblins.
