Boruto Two Blue Vortex: Chapter 4 Recap

As we saw earlier, Boruto was able to successfully tag Code with one of his toads. So, after learning the location of Code and the ten tails, Boruto teleported to their location using the Flying Thunder God technique. This is a remarkable feat by him as only Tobirama and then his grandfather, Minato utilized this technique. Even his dad, Naruto wasn’t seen using this OP technique.

So yeah, Boruto continues to impress us in the best way possible, doesn’t he? Now, when he made his way to the respective location, he was surprised to see the disappearance of the Ten Tails.

This was followed by the introduction of four new intimidating antagonists. Just when we thought Boruto had grown up in terms of power, he was completely overshadowed by those villains, as seen in his fight against one. He referred to them as Shinju and asked for help from Code (undoing his Rasengan Uzuhiko technique) to battle for their lives.

But Code used this opportunity to escape and Boruto ended up alone against this terrifying group. But he was unexpectedly saved by a savior, Koji Kashin (the clone of Jiraiya). Back in Konoha, the village is in shambles as they continue to understand Boruto’s motives. While Kawaki still termed Boruto as a killer, Sarada stood up in Boruto’s defense.

If you remember, the fandom was predicting the arrival of Sasuke in this chapter. And it happened, but not in the way we expected. In the final pages, we notice Boruto and Koji Kashin having a deep conversation about how things proceed from here. It is also implied that Koji was Boruto’s trainer during the time-skip. This is a nice parallel as his dad was trained by Jiraiya during his time.

Then the panel zooms out, and we are greeted with the biggest surprise – the return of the Shadow Hokage, Sasuke. But, as you can see in the image below, he is consumed by a god tree similar to a person who was bitten by a claw grime a couple of chapters ago. So, much like Naruto and Hinata, Sasuke is unavailable to guide and assist Boruto at the moment. He has to move forward and save everyone alone. Boruto must feel so lonely, right?

What to Expect in Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 5?

Since Boruto has retreated for now, we might not see any action for the next few chapters. Instead, we are likely to see Boruto going through a period of collecting intel against his new opponents and coming up with a plan to beat them along with Koji. Things will continue to be handled clumsily in the Konoha village as Kawaki continues to reiterate that Boruto is the villain. We will also get to see Code and Ten Tail’s whereabouts in the next chapter.

But more importantly, we can expect details on Sasuke’s current situation and how he found himself taken over a claw grime in the next chapter. We might also see our newest villain characters getting fleshed out for readers to understand their true power.

As I mentioned earlier, things are getting more heated with each chapter’s release, and it is the best time to be a Boruto fan. That said, what did you think about chapter 4 of Boruto TBV? Let us know in the comments below.
