Alongside One Piece and Attack on Titan, Naruto will always be considered one of the greatest and fan-favorite anime. When the anime series ended in 2017, we were not ready to bid our goodbyes to Team Seven. Thankfully, Kishimoto and Ukyo Kodachi brought us the sequel to this iconic series by introducing us to Naruto’s son, Boruto. Now, if you are interested in reliving your Shinobi days with Naruto’s son, find out how to watch or read Boruto in the correct order here in our guide.
How Many Arcs Does Boruto Have?

For those who aren’t aware, Boruto is the direct sequel to the iconic Naruto series, and it follows the life story of Naruto Uzumaki’s son, Boruto. Following in his father’s footsteps, Boruto aspires to become a legendary ninja in history alongside his nakama. What starts out as a light-hearted, adventurous story soon escalates into a high-stakes action in the second part of the series.
Yes, mirroring his father’s journey, the Boruto series is divided into two parts. The first part is known as Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generations (2017-2023), and the second part is titled Boruto: Two Blue Vortex (2023-ongoing), which takes place after a major timeskip.
The first part has a total of 26 arcs spanning 80 chapters and over 293 episodes. The final arc of the first half is yet to be adapted in the Boruto anime. On the other hand, the second part, aka Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, began in 2023. So far, only two arcs featuring 24 chapters have come out so far at the time of writing.
