Researcher / Tech Writer
The candidate should have a deep understanding of the tech world, with a special focus on smartphones, different smartphone platforms, IoT devices, new apps & services, mobile games, benchmarking tools etc. They should have an in-depth outlook and strong opinions on the latest happenings of the tech world.
You will be part of the Beebom Video Team, where you will help the team with in-depth research for our YouTube videos, test the latest gadgets and software, come up with interesting topics, and help create script ideas for the team.
Requirements:
- Significant experience with smartphones and a in-depth knowledge of the different parameters and specs of smartphones
- Expert level knowledge of both the major smartphone platforms, be it Android or iOS
- Deliver detailed, accurate and fact checked research on a variety of topics
- Should keep track of all the latest launchings and updates in the tech world
- Willingness to test out new gadgets, travel for events, meetings, and trade shows
- Good hold on the English language is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with the video team to come up with interesting video topics
- Create detailed research around a wide selection of topics and gadgets
- Test out the different aspects of latest devices, be it the performance, cameras, battery etc.
- Come with up interesting video topics
- Coordinating with other members of the video team
- Help with the shooting and scripting when required
- Must follow the deadlines
